We first met August of 2007, through Our friend and family member, Jazzie. Jazzie’s my close friend and Huey’s cousin.

After a few weeks of calling and getting to know one another, we decided to go on a date. For our first date, we went to the Haunted House. We were accompanied by our third-wheel Jazzie.

We had our first child August 31, 2009, Our baby boy Ashton was strong and handsome. This would be our introduction into parenthood, a journey we embarked together.

After our first child was born, we moved into our first apartment together. I can recall the first time Huey barbecued and the meat tasting of lighter fluid. We learned so much about one another around this time. We learned how to fake sleep, seeing who would be the first to change the baby’s diaper or warm his bottle first. Most importantly, we learned the value of family; So much that we ended up with 4 beautiful children.

November of 2020 we purchased our first home. Who would’ve known, from the first day we layed eyes on one another, we would be here.
